Additional information to assist with agreement making The Workplace Authority provides support to guide employers and employees through lodging and managing agreements online.
No-disadvantage Test The no-disadvantage test has been introduced to ensure agreements do not disadvantage employees against an applicable collective agreement or applicable award.

Under the federal workplace relations system, minimum wages for employees are no longer included in awards. They can now be found in Australian Pay and Classification Scales, which form part of the Australian Fair Pay and Conditions Standard.
Assistance
- Australian Industrial Relations Commission
The AIRC assists employers and employees in resolving industrial disputes, handling certain termination of employment claims, rationalising and simplifying awards; and dealing with applications about industrial action.
- Workplace Authority
The Workplace Authority is the central point of contact for advice, education and information on Australia's workplace relations system for employers and employees. The Workplace Authority also accepts lodgements of workplace agreements and assesses whether they pass the no-disadvantage test. The Workplace Authority is available to assist employers and employees understand the Australian Fair Pay and Conditions Standard.
